I am pleased to advise that the clubs first TT event held under our new Covid-19 safe procedures went well and the committee and myself wish to thank our time keepers – Martin McGreary and Don Muir for attending along with our Marshal Tim Bisien, as without there help and support, we could not have run this event.
There were 32 riders who were all enthusiastic to be racing again. Even after the extended lockdown Ross Holland was the first across the line in a cracking time of 20.56 secs with our Harry Walton on a close second at 21.08 secs. For the women, Vickie Wilkinson was first in a great time of 25.35 secs. Well done everyone who attended and supported this event, and I understand the tarmac around the Toddington roundabout is being resurfaced on the 21.07.20 so fingers crossed we will have another good event on the 23.07.20.
