Shake off those mid-winter blues with our new Golden Segment Challenge!
Our first Golden Segment will be well known to most of you – it’s the segment between Staverton and Boddington that forms part of the regular Cheltenham loop. So there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be a segment most of us can lay down in the next 4 weeks.
If you’re lucky and get a strong tailwind you can post some pretty quick times. Kudos to our very own Steve Wheeler, who sits on top of the tree with a seriously fast 47.0km/h average. Is there anyone out there who can topple him? Probably not, given it’s February – but hey, if you don’t try, you’ll never know.
And remember – everyone who rides the segment between 1st and 29th February will be entered into our prize draw. This month’s prize is a delightful C&CCC Club Buff.
So what are you waiting for? Challenge your mates or ride it as a group – but get out and ride!
