Please note the following updates made today (25.4.19)
.1 Velo Vitesse have organised their TT event on the 2nd May on the 10 mile Staunton Circuit (UC 713) and I provide a map of the route – Staunton Circuit (UC713)
Please note that there is NO village hall for this event as a HQ, but riders gather at the Lay-by opposite the Barn Lane cross roads. Please support this event.
.2 I am away for the 9th and 16th May TT events so I have today (29.04.19) had a meeting with Adrian Neeves (C&CCC Club Member), and because he is willing to be the Main Marshal for these two events and liaise with the time keepers / lock up the village hall etc. then these two events can proceed as planned. Adrian will also be adding the event results to the web site so please be patient if there are any delays or small errors. When I return after my holiday, I can sort any issues out then.
However, I require two helpers to push off, so a rider can do this, they just set off last. Please contact me before the 5th May, so I can add your name to the TT Rota on the Calendar. If no names come forward, then riders just push off themselves, but this will be a disappointment.
.3 The Teddington Village Hall is no longer available to us on the 23rd May, due to the EU Elections, therefore, I have changed the planned 10 mile U706 event to the 8 mile K39 / 8 course, so we can meet and assemble for sign on at Orchard Industrial Estate. To compensate for the loss of the 10 mile course planned for the 23rd May, I have moved it to the 9th May – assuming it goes ahead!
.4 The Interclub event planned with Gloucester Cycle Club on the 16th May has now changed to the 30th May and the TT Calendar has been updated. This 25 mile event will be held on their U72 Course between Maisemore and Ledbury.
.5 Please note that there will be NO refreshments on offer at the HQ for the 9th and 16th May, and riders bring their own. Also please mote that because we do not have the HQ on the 23rd May, the club refreshments will only be provided at the re-scheduled Interclub Event with Gloucester Cycle Club on the 30th May at Teddington Village Hall.
