Sharing ToB stage 6 info
Gloucestershire will play a starring role in the Men’s Tour of Britain, the UK’s most prestigious cycle race, by hosting the sixth stage of the race on Friday 9 September. This marks the first time that our picturesque county will have provided the backdrop for a full day of the event. The Stage 6 route will start in Tewkesbury then head into the Cotswolds before approaching the finish by the historic Gloucester Docks via South Gloucestershire. Please see details on the Stage 6 route here to see where the race will be coming through including Cirencester & Tetbury: https://www.tourofbritain.co.uk/stages/stage-six/
Full timings will be issued shortly via the website link above but usually the race starts around 1030/11am and finishes by 3pm daily so we expect the race to be in Cotswold District from approx. 11.35am, with Cirencester around 12.30 and Tetbury 1pm. The sprint and hill climb locations are listed on the map to help you plan where you will cheer the professionals on.
I *might* be working from home that day.
