The first rider will set off at 19:01 on Thursday evening and this year, Harry has introduced a number of options each week that will provide a great opportunity for those who aren’t so familiar with pinning a number on their back.
We’ll be running some no drop ride outs from the Pump Rooms starting next week - 5th May (this week if we get a volunteer to lead!). Meet at 17:45 for a roll out at 17:50. We’ll ride via Dixton and arrive at the HQ together to guide you through sign on, putting on your number, warming up and how to find the start. On the way there’ll be plenty of opportunities to discuss pacing, position and the weather.
Junior riders very welcome.
In addition to the usual TT bikes, each event will have a road bike category - you can ride this on your normal bike and be ranked against riders on similar equipment!
Further, each event will allow for a 2 up TT to be ridden on road bikes - if you don’t fancy trying it alone, grab a mate!
Finally, next week is the start of 2 Inter-Club TTs against Glos City. We’re hosting them on Thursday 5th (look out for those strange jerseys at the HQ), followed by a second 10 mile TT hosted by Glos at Chaxhill on the A48 on Tuesday 10th. It will be great to have as many C&CCC riders as possible riding this alternate course and annihilating the competition- I’ll be organising a ride out in the coming week so keep your eyes peeled.
