Tonight's race was on the Wormington Circuit while road works disrupt the 10 mile TT course.

A windy, cool night but it didn't stop Abigail Wade setting a fantastic course record of 20:14! This beats Jo Wilkie's 2018 time by 8 seconds. Liz Spiers set an age group record of 21:10, knocking off over 80 seconds from the previous best. Tom Biggs successfully navigated the course and was an agonising 1 second off the men's course record set by Ross Holland in 2019.

A smaller field but this was expected given the event was just 8 miles. Wormington used to be a regular early season course and it was nice to revisit it. Lots of discussion before about the perils of missing the left hand turn, but two left turn signs and a good dose of psychological pressure meant everyone managed to find their way round. The headwind gutter crawl back to the finish must have been a real treat.

Thanks to Don Muir, Laura Finucane, Vincent Douglas and Mike Wake for helping out tonight.
