Not many options for us for Sunday cafe stop. All 3 options need us to prebook, so let me know your intention. I'll assume that if you vote for a cafe, ultimately you'd stop at the one we pick (based upon popularity). One option is to stretch the ride at halfway and stop at Goodrich Castle. The other is to detour after all the climbs and go to either Leaf Creative at Huntley or Fairview at Birdwood, picking the route back up from Newent. Pros and cons for al No cafe stop - the choice of the purists (66 miles) Goodrich - not much space so need to prebook, might be outside and there's the Ruardean climb still to do (stop at 36 miles out of 71) Leaf Creative - better location but service variable (stop at 45 miles out of 70) Fairview - better coffee and cakes but slightly more detour (47 miles out of 73) Let me know by replying to this, and I'll book accordibg to popular vote across here and the Facebook group..

Sunday coffee stop at Hiller's Farm Shop, Dunnington. We just do a small detour at the top end of the ride. Stop would be at 35 miles.

HSBC ended their support for BC early, leaving them unfunded. They've looked around to find alternative funding. For a year. Seemingly lots of companies are finding it tough at the moment. I wonder which sector has surplus profits???? Shell have agreed to put money into the next 2 Olympics/Paralympics and into disabled sport. Sure, we'd all like to have funding from a sponsor who was altruistic, perfect in every respect with no contention, but there wasn't one (unless someone on here knows somebody who BC didn't know of). What do people want? Say no to Shell and carry on without the funding? And by the way, I think that they are still in the market for other sponsors for other disciplines if anybody has access to a multi million pound donor...
