TT League update

I was notified today (10.4.18) that road works have commenced from the Alderton Junction on the B4077.  The Gloucestershire Highway Authority website state the works will complete on the 23rd April.  However, after speaking with the works supervisor on site, they believe this is an initial date and the works are likely to extend into May, as they need to lay new optical cables to Teddington roundabout!

This is a major upset for the club and the running of the League Series, for this season.

Currently I am seeking emergency consent from Gloucestershire Police for us to revert to the old 8 mile K39 / 8 Course. I have updated the Risk Assessment and if I receive consent by Wednesday evening then we can run our first event on the 12th April, and I will then provide a further update. This is also on the understanding that I have an additional helper to Marshal with me.

The HQ will remain at Teddington Village Hall.

Please could anyone willing to help, please contact me, so I can at least know I have assistance.

If the above does not happen then our first event will be cancelled and I will need to review what can be done (if at all) while these cable works are being laid.
