Cyclocross R10 at Chedworth- first bit of help and R8 lift share needed

We are promoting Round 10 of the Western Cyclocross League again at Denfurlong Farm, the well known cycle cafe stop with the bottomless coffee pot at Chedworth. Later on I shall be asking for helpers to set up and ride test the course Saturday afternoon (28th Nov) and run sign in,marshal etc on Sunday 29thNov. But first I need volunteer helpers to join me and Sam Clark clearing the course track-bed on Saturday afternoon 21st Nov- the week before the event. This is pretty heavy duty gardening clearance type effort. Anyone who can bring a rotary petrol mower capable of tackling fairly long grass will be particularly helpful. If you want to volunteer contact John Hawes at johnhawes@tiscali.co.uk

Next weeks Western League Round 8 event is a new custom built private circuit down in Somerset. It is a chance to try it before it holds the Southern Division Championship in December. Sam Clarke has room in his van so if anyone wishes to share transport costs contact him direct: samuel@keltieandclark.co.uk
