The Worcestershire Wednesday Evening Road Race Series (28 June – 19 July 2017)

This new series of summer evening races will give riders of all ages and all levels of experience a chance to compete in road races over 4 weeks in June and July 2017:

  • Wed 28 June 7pm – Echelon – Pinvin – Organiser Tim Wood
  • Wed 5 July 7pm – VC Sevale – Welland – Organiser Sean O’Toole
  • Wed 12 July 7pm – Graham Knowles Memorial – Inkberrow – Organiser Marcus Walker
  • Wed 19 July 7pm – Bush Healthcare – Pinvin – Organiser Joe Rowe

Each race will be 25-30 miles, on fairly flat courses, and some will be run as a handicap race. There will be small cash prizes for each race, and prizes for the overall series (based on best 3 races). In order to qualify for the overall prizes, riders must have marshalled or helped at one of the races, or provided a helper. Races will be run under the rules of TLI Cycling and riders must be members of TLI Cycling (£12 for a year). Riders may join at their first race. The entry fee for each race will be £10. Entry is online through the TLI Cycling website (using PayPal for payment) or by post to the organiser on a TLI entry form with a cheque. The closing date for advance entries will be one week before the event. Entry will also be available on the day, if there are still places available.
